Get Equipped Music Initiative

We have been working with Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation (LNADJ), a charity that is changing the lives of kids in crisis through the Global Electronic Dance Music Community.

As you know, we are donating half the profits of our Hawaiian shirts to LNADJ
and between us, we have raised £8,000!!!

THANK YOU!!!

This money will go to 'Get Equipped', an initiative to supply Music & DJ equipment to kids who don't have all the comforts we take for granted.

Music can have a profound effect on a child’s life, helping them to feel more joy, express themselves, heal and grow. This is especially important when it comes to helping children in crisis. With Get Equipped, Music kit is donated to educational and community organisations or projects, that support young people in crisis, in the UK and beyond.

One set of decks, speakers and music or a computer with software and samples is enough to teach at least 10 young people to learn how to DJ or produce music.

LNADJ also aim to provide education and support to the organisations to ensure longevity in the work they do and ensure their staff or volunteers have the ability to teach the young people the key skills in both DJ'ing and music production.

This week a new music class room at the @theabodeproject was opened in Uganda. Jonny Lee and Dominic Aquila Sunderland were there to hand over and set up the donated Get Equipped DJ kit. By the end of the day they were teaching DJ skills to the first three chosen students at the new music school!

It’s not too late to join in and get a Hawaiian shirt to show your support!
We want to get up to £10,000 so shop today and help us to get there.
50% of the profits are donated to @LNADJ and they’re on sale!
